That split second sheer panic of “Oh crap, did I forget to pay the light bill this month?” when the power goes out, followed by the sweet relief of hearing the low hum of generators sing throughout the neighborhood.. Waiting on you @Entergy 👀

@GeauxGabrielle A lot of newer developments have underground lines here but like my neighborhood that was build in the 40s-60s still has above ground ones. I desperately wish Entergy would switch to underground lines because it would mitigate a ton of damage every hurricane season

@GovHotWheels_TX @Entergy Yeah, 120+ ai data centers, which nobody wants or voted for, are gonna needs lots of power and even more water to operate! Where will the water come from & will it be contaminated after being used to cool those unwanted data centers?

Not having any clue which roads Entergy has shut down as I navigate the school commute is truly testing me. This is my home and I'm committed to make it a better place for everyone, not just my crazy family. But some weeks, it's just really hard.

@EntergyMS Its Monday morning, the wind has died down, the rain is sporadic and there are outages everywhere that are now nearly 12 hours old. People all around me are cleaning up and no one has seen an Entergy truck. Did y'all not see this coming? No estimates on your outage maps??

@WWLAMFM So that means Entergy will pass the cost onto customers. I don't care what Entergy claims they will get it money out all of us customers. They can't be trusted.

@EntergyLA How do you get to a warming station if the roads are so bad you can drive to one. Are they supposed to come to us. Yall thought of everything Entergy. Good for yall. What a freaking joke of a company yall are.

  • LaTxGal
    Catherine (@LaTxGal) reported

Hubby received a message from Entergy telling us that conditions have worsened (which we knew) and implying that linemen would not be out to restore any potential power outages until things improved. I can remember when these men went out in all kinds of weather to do their jobs.

  • browniemyx

My power has been out since 9:57am. Entergy didn't acknowledge the outage for hours. No estimated restoration time, in a totally electric house. 🙃

@SenSanders Meta will fund the utility infrastructure needed to interconnect and serve its center. Meta is contractually responsible for paying the full cost to connect to the grid and support its load, including the new generation resources Entergy Louisiana is building to serve the site.
