  Engineering company working with Entergy just told me they weren’t even going to start making repairs until Weds. in Baton Rouge. Apparently that’s how long it’ll take them to assess what appears to be relatively minor damage. Seems insane.

  @DanBorsch @lgeku Entergy does a pretty bad job with the oak trees in New Orleans believe it or not. They “v” cut the trees so the powerlines can go through the middle and it’s ridiculous. Make the polls higher or bury the lines. Quit molesting the oak trees.

  @tatereeves The linemen are great, but you need to look at the statistics on the outage map for Entergy. The map is showing people with their power on days after they reported it. Power is really not on. This may be a PR move to misrepresent the numbers. Be careful of the accuracy.

  Last week the T-P reported that Entergy is planning seven new gas plants just to service the new data centers in Louisiana. Are we expected to believe they won't tack that onto our bills also?

  @skooks I understand the market more than most and can say it is an issue but profiteering off that issue is more the problem. Incestuous relationships with companies who sell to Delta is not much different than what drives parts of Entergy bills. Someone somewhere is raking it in,

  @GeauxGabrielle A lot of newer developments have underground lines here but like my neighborhood that was build in the 40s-60s still has above ground ones. I desperately wish Entergy would switch to underground lines because it would mitigate a ton of damage every hurricane season
