    @lofisouls @eflynt @Entergy Seems pretty hard to bury them under the Mississippi’s river…. Spend 2 years to special build a cable and then do earthwork on levees to situate it? Just give me a stronger transmission line next time

    I just made myself a cup of coffee and took a walk to Metairie Road. Not much happening. Very few people out. I actually think the vast majority of folks have evacuated. I am patiently waiting for the cavalry (@Entergy) to arrive. No sight of them yet.

    What changed from three years ago and the last big freeze in New Orleans? Why is the power grid suddenly vulnerable and Entergy is asking customers to reduce usage? I don’t remember this being asked before.

    here's the thing about Entergy. @NOLACityCouncil is the body that regulates ENOI. @HelenaMorenoLA has all the power she needs to order rate reductions and transparency from the corp. Ask her why she doesn't wield that power

    I understand there are widespread power outages in the New Orleans metro area. Is this slow recovery partly because @Entergy is short handed and didn’t bring in many outside resources? Did they have enough time to stage additional resources? Trying to understand the delays.

    Entergy says I will likely be without electricity till November 2nd, due to the hurricane. I don’t even know if I have internet when it comes back on.

    @ScottWalker6 Once again a big company squeezing out the little guys for every penny. When will people come first @Entergy ? Be a decent company and put up a dang pole, you’re huge and the only option out here, do better!

    More delays from @EntergyLA I guess the linemen weren’t lying when they said the heads at entergy were lying about these dates so people won’t get angry and upset.. just threw out all my fridge and freezer food ! It’s too warm to keep it outside now :(

    @EntergyLA If me, my wife or my animals freeze to death or die as a result of your outright negligence to do preventative maintenance or investment in upgrading infrastructure i will be holding Entergy and the city i live in liable for any and all such things. My power has been off for 4 hr

    @DanBorsch @lgeku Entergy does a pretty bad job with the oak trees in New Orleans believe it or not. They “v” cut the trees so the powerlines can go through the middle and it’s ridiculous. Make the polls higher or bury the lines. Quit molesting the oak trees.
