Eg 80% tip. - when it looks like a double charge. - when a MRC goes up. This flooded Amazon customer service when they raised price of prime. More issuers should do this. CC issuers are sitting on massive troves of data, but do little with it for the consumer. Fraud detection yes, customer benefit, no. I’d like to see terminal providers doing the same. It’s more fragmented yes, but companies like toast and square already inject themselves into the consumer experience. AmEx actually connects you to square so you can see line-item data.
