  @AttorneyCrump Waze (free app) logs camera locations reported by customers. Might be worth using it to locate patterns. Seems legit to wonder why they are deployed where they are, but if it’s because that’s where the crime is, is that still an equity problem?

  @Harrris0n any intelligence officer or member of the military who takes their job seriously shouldn’t have Waze and similar tools on their phone. This a basic requirement. Second, you said that Google should look into this matter and fix the privacy issue with Waze. Let’s be honest 2/3

  @Heston83 If we all allowed DOT/traffic operations to track us via GPS, like Waze users, they could have dynamic traffic lights that could sort out traffic light sequences in real time… Once all cars are self driving , congestion will go WAY down. Cultural adoption will slow it down

  @martboficial Google Maps still has a problem with delayed turn info in metro areas. Providing turn guidance while on the freeway at 2mi, 1mi, 1/4mi and then BEFORE the turn is why I keep going back to Waze.

  @ChrisGrose2 Further thought. It's a form Waze for commuters. Waze is car navigation app, where users report delays, jams etc and Waze reroutes you round the problem.

  @loganthefrst @01Ananto It’s still legally not allowed. Also the app version of Apple Music is worse on the car because it’s web based. Having Waze would definitely be nice. If Tesla would fix routing that would be good

  @markgurman Good thing I quit using @apple maps a few months ago since they can’t figure out how to fix the storage glitch for CarPlay users. @waze it is for the long-term!

  @TrooperBenKs The whole reason apps like Waze, or for instance Camsam in Germany, are so populair is because of speeding tickets for speeds that maybe over a limit but are not unsafe by default. In the Netherlands they issue 6,5 million speeding tickets a year of which 80% is for 1 to 10 km/h

  @starstrutz @MissJilianne Genuinely did not understand what you meant. Tesla and Waymo both use “Waze-like” data through their proprietary alternatives to feed into their own systems so you can see how that would be confusing. They both have something akin to Waze, but on steroids. Since you clarified, I have a question for you. Notice any differences between Waymo’s and Teslas? Like all of the gigantic cameras and sensors plastered on those jaguars? Maybe you’re purely a function over form type of person, but some people like a healthy balance. Those Waymos are clunky and ugly as hell compared to any Tesla. That’s just one example. Also Waymo isn’t as perfect as you’re pretending it is. Their technology makes serious mistakes and there is no one for police to interact with, no one for other motorist to interact with and no one for customers. You gonna call customer service or sit there and wait for the Indian tech support to get connected? This is not a small issue, it’s created plenty of headaches and problems. They also, by legal obligation, have a massive infrastructure of “remote human fleet managers” that people like you pretend don’t exist. They’re heavily geofenced and operate an extremely small footprint in heavily controlled environments. This is nothing compared to Tesla. Teslas are global. Waymo has been developing their autonomous product since 2009. Tesla started FSD in 2016. Don’t make me spell it out for you further. Drop your Elon hate bias and do some research.

  @waze having issues with my app on iPhone. Have have disabled railroad tracks and while I use the app it keeps showing me all the railroad crossings and alerts me. How do I get rid of this or do I need to get a new app? Thanks

  Hey @Tesla_AI FSD feedback from down Under: * The Tesla navigation in Australia is bad, it is biased towards taking right hand turns which are the most dangerous/slow when driving on the left, > pls benchmark your navigation against Waze * FSD drives decently my wife felt safe, but we need Mad Max mode because my grandma has more tempo, I did not used FSD that much because it takes ages to speed up * It's too timid to get into a lane/roundabout/cross an intersection * It picked the wrong lane 2x in a 4 hour drive ( same pattern, moving to the left lane to move right > hook turn overtraining much? * Pls improve the voice recognition of Grok so it can handle other than US and British, I have a slight Eastern European one, but even emulating the Ozzie one did not help ( Oi mate, bring me to the closest Macca's ) * Australia has a lot of stupid speed limits 30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100,110 And because Australian traffic designers are moronic they like to mix them on the same road is short succession, > if you could add some smoothing to be biased towards the higher speed and not slow down that much that would help to make the drive feel more natural * Pls update you maps in Aus, there are a lot of new roads/signs/speed which you navigation is not aware of * The FSD viz cannot recognise a train * The FSD viz thinks the speed limit with a red circle, above the freeway is a red lamp > pls fix it for obvious reasons Otherwise great job, it passed the wife test for feeling safe!

  @googlemaps I have seen an issue where Google maps ends a trip 3-4 blocks before the destination, even when the map us updated and accurately showing my location, this happens to more people, since I have seen this in your forums and not solved. This doesn't happen on Waze. Is it solved for this update?

  @Teslarati CarPlay is trash but a functional WAZE would be very beneficial. Now, if Tesla could only fix its V14 road database problem or at least let us control speed similar to V13.2.9.

  @SawyerMerritt Lol. It's not like they're oblivious to the existence of the potholes. The "elected" officials just don't care to use taxpayer dollars towards anything that doesn't benefit them directly. Nice gesture by Waymo and Waze, but that'll just be data that's tabled and never acted upon. A new excuse as to why they can't fix these problems will arise.
