Steve X 🇬🇧🏴 (@Simbo06) reported@welchy1987 If your not depending on the £18k any time soon I would maybe go with 11-12k in a cash ISA @Trading212 currently offer 3.85% then maybe invest the remaining 8-9k into a stocks ISA $VUSA is the S&P500 and a good one to start with, start off slow and do your research. The only negatives are no fixed price quotes so I nearly always trade using limit orders otherwise you could be in for a shock if there's a wide spread at the time & no phone help. Although their email support was good when I used it.

Per their official community response on Feb 6, 2026: "An IFISA isn’t part of our current plans." For crypto ETN context, recent HMRC updates suggest forced sales from April may be avoided—confirm directly with them or HMRC.
