Trever S. (@potsey_weber) reported from Roanoke, Texas@oncor My question is how do we know if it’s a “planned” 7 hour outage or a problem? Website doesn’t work, text system doesn’t work, phone lines busy. I’d be looking at your vendors and IT folks as this is some poor contingency planning.
-
Brian Doyle (@TheMasterDS) reported from Euless, TexasI haven’t had power since 4 AM last night, this is ******. I blame @oncor but I also blame apartment complexes for not shelling out for backup power in case of emergency. I hope the money yall saved by not doing that is blown by damages to the pools that just froze over!
-
Andrew ✈️🏝🍹🇩🇪 *MFFL* (@andrewmiller214) reported from Haltom City, TexasAs usual, @oncor is a big pile of horse ****.
-
Brian Doyle (@TheMasterDS) reported from Euless, Texas@oncor Part of capitalism is trying to do things for less money, and as a result very brittle systems are built with no redundancies because that’s how you get a tiny bit more profit out of it. We need robust systems that can handle disasters, there’s going to be a lot more of them.
-
NFL Insider (@1NFL_Insiders) reported from Trophy Club, TexasBad news folks the crank that turns the turbine for Texas Power Grid has broken so @ERCOT_ISO & @oncor had to order on @amazon part shipping from China. Don’t worry Southlake & Westlake not include in outage because rich look out for one another.

Oncor Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Johnny (@C_On_031) reported@oncor I clear the outages are intentional and by design. The power came back on for literally for about one minute then went out again. We have to be part of rolling blackout. There is NO REASON as to why the power should be out for the second time within 20 days!
-
Dylan Peeples (@TXbywayofMS) reported@packomeese @oncor Since freeze of 2021, there has been frequent power loss via Oncor in this area of Pflugerville/Travis County. Most Recently outages have occurred on 3/23/23, 3/21/23, 3/16/23, 2/15/23, 2/1/23, 12/22/22, 10/31/22, 9/29/22.
-
Hangman401 (@TheHangman401) reported@oncor ~90 in our neighborhood without power because of a broken power line, never saw a single technician out, just the fire department saying "it's not a fire risk and the line is shut off now"
-
Papie Boomer (@Papie_Boomer) reported@oncor That is pathetic when you cant even look at your own service maps and see exactly what I'm talking about. If upper management and I.T. is so stupid that dont have it set up better than that in 2023 this explains a lot more about Texas antique system.
-
Sir Moose Esquire (@packomeese) reportedThird power outage in a week. @oncor how do we get this resolved?
