@oncor what’s the deal in Watauga? My power is out. I thought it might go out during the storms overnight but not after they passed.

  • potsey_weber
Trever S. (@potsey_weber) reported from Roanoke, Texas

@oncor My question is how do we know if it’s a “planned” 7 hour outage or a problem? Website doesn’t work, text system doesn’t work, phone lines busy. I’d be looking at your vendors and IT folks as this is some poor contingency planning.

  • TheMasterDS
Brian Doyle (@TheMasterDS) reported from Euless, Texas

I haven’t had power since 4 AM last night, this is ******. I blame @oncor but I also blame apartment complexes for not shelling out for backup power in case of emergency. I hope the money yall saved by not doing that is blown by damages to the pools that just froze over!

  • andrewmiller214
Andrew ✈️🏝🍹🇩🇪 *MFFL* (@andrewmiller214) reported from Haltom City, Texas

As usual, @oncor is a big pile of horse ****.

  • TheMasterDS
Brian Doyle (@TheMasterDS) reported from Euless, Texas

@oncor Part of capitalism is trying to do things for less money, and as a result very brittle systems are built with no redundancies because that’s how you get a tiny bit more profit out of it. We need robust systems that can handle disasters, there’s going to be a lot more of them.

  • 1NFL_Insiders
NFL Insider (@1NFL_Insiders) reported from Trophy Club, Texas

Bad news folks the crank that turns the turbine for Texas Power Grid has broken so @ERCOT_ISO & @oncor had to order on @amazon part shipping from China. Don’t worry Southlake & Westlake not include in outage because rich look out for one another.

  • Ownez4
Ownez (@Ownez4) reported from North Richland Hills, Texas

@PaolaBazaldua10 @oncor @ERCOT_ISO I will do everything in my power to sue those bastards

Wow, @oncor & @ERCOT_ISO In a @FOX4 article, “Oncor says its focus is shortening the length of time the additional rolling outages still to come. ‘Our goal is for them to not last as long as they have,’ Dunn said. You mean like 22 hours? How about RESTORING power??

  • AuntTfromTexas
Aunt Tannis (@AuntTfromTexas) reported from North Richland Hills, Texas

  • potsey_weber
Trever S. (@potsey_weber) reported from Roanoke, Texas

Thanks to @GoGriddy I can see that wholesale rates are under $2 kWh. @ERCOT_ISO shows almost 3k Mw reserves so @oncor why is it I don’t have power for over 12 hours now? #TexasBlackout #texaspoweroutage

  • janetstjames
Janet St. James (@janetstjames) reported from Grapevine, Texas

Oncor Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • C_On_031
    Johnny (@C_On_031) reported

@oncor I clear the outages are intentional and by design. The power came back on for literally for about one minute then went out again. We have to be part of rolling blackout. There is NO REASON as to why the power should be out for the second time within 20 days!

  • TXbywayofMS
    Dylan Peeples (@TXbywayofMS) reported

  • TheHangman401
    Hangman401 (@TheHangman401) reported

@oncor ~90 in our neighborhood without power because of a broken power line, never saw a single technician out, just the fire department saying "it's not a fire risk and the line is shut off now"

  • Papie_Boomer
    Papie Boomer (@Papie_Boomer) reported

@oncor That is pathetic when you cant even look at your own service maps and see exactly what I'm talking about. If upper management and I.T. is so stupid that dont have it set up better than that in 2023 this explains a lot more about Texas antique system.

  • packomeese
    Sir Moose Esquire (@packomeese) reported

Third power outage in a week. @oncor how do we get this resolved?

  • locomotive78
    Paul in uhhhh...... (@locomotive78) reported

@hunterdale6 @oncor @CityWillowPark Hallelujah!!!! I have power, my friend! You are right. There is zero accountability, and we are all so reliant on them, yet they can screw us over and over again.

@oncor Not cool. So it finally came back on at 9:00am and it’s 9:25am and it already went away again. But to take your money that’s always on point **** yeah.

  • AprilWi92971354
    April Williamson (@AprilWi92971354) reported

@oncor I am in Fort Worth and wasn't effected by the storms but my power went out at about 12:30pm I think. I keep getting texts that it's back on and it's just not.

  • Rigs2627

@oncor can you actually be reliable?!? It seems like every time there’s the slightest gust of wind, the power just shuts down.
