  • jedweeks
Jed Weeks (@jedweeks) reported from Baltimore, Maryland

@Adam_F_Sandy @Xfinity @comcastcares Unfortunately, I have no other choice for service. We need our advertised speed (we get 12.5% of it) for my partner's on-call pediatrician visits, DSL would be even slower, and we don't have access to any local options in Remington despite the dark fiber line running up my block.

@Xfinity so our service has been out for several hours. And the area in BMore that we live gets crap signal. But guess what? The “technicians” assigned to fix it are sitting flat on their a***s. My job is at stake. But I’ll bet they will expect that $380 bill on time. Criminals

Comcast Xfinity Issues Reports

  • mexigreekmom74
    AthenaofAmerica (@mexigreekmom74) reported

@amystreasures @1ssve In my area, we had issues all the time. I also had issues when I moved to another spot, but thankfully AT&T was just starting fiber optic so I got that and had no problems. Ending up moving again and got stuck with Comcast and started having issues again. Finally said enough and never went back.

@DenverChannel @Xfinity is awful. The absolute worst customer service ever.

  • judgmentcenter
I judge you: I am ULTRA MAGA (@judgmentcenter) reported

Elon Musk's Starlink is great. I am a customer. - Starlink is great. When Florida got hit by a hurricane many lost cable internet and also fiber internet for days and days, but people that had Starlink didn't. - Starlink is just as fast as Comcast and Spectrum high speed internet - I put the Starlink cable in a protective plastic protector, then buried it 2-3 inches. - I also put the Starlink dish in a clear acrylic sleeve that will protect it from bird droppings, tree sap and even hail - However when a hurricane was coming I unburied the cable and brought the Starlink dish inside my garage to protect dish during the storm. - There is plenty of extra cable to do so. - As soon as the wind died down, I brought the dish back out and had my high speed internet back up within about 10 minutes. - Sandbags hold it in place for normal storms +++ +++ They have a $5 a month standby mode. It automatically updates its firmware and software in standby mode. It is ready for you in 5 minutes whenever you need to start up high speed internet. Great for snow birds or if your cable/fiber internet goes out IE after a major hurricane, tornado, storm. +++ +++ It is also a satellite phone. It works even if all the cell towers are down so you can make calls or send/receive text messages. You can make phone calls or send text using your cell phone: Step 1: Connect to the Starlink Wi-Fi (regular high speed internet OR standby modes) Step 2: Then select Wi-Fi Calling Step 3: Now you are connected to the Starlink satellites making calls, send texts using your cell phone.

  • prodfinerthings
    ProdByFinerThings (@prodfinerthings) reported

@G0_R0GUE @TrueSouthernUSA @STaranto92 Yeah but RCR supplies engines for almost the entire Xfinity series, and they’re still have their major sponsors. Does seem the cash flow is an issue but to what scale? I feel like there are tons of other factors in play.

  • UnderCautionPod
    Under Caution (@UnderCautionPod) reported

@CouchRacerShop “B.. b.. but he wrecked his teammate” funny how Ty Gibbs is the only driver fans refuse to let grow. Yeah he wrecked his teammate years ago in Xfinity, and it was a bad look, but acting like that defines his entire career is wild.

@chadmikosz25 @Ilikeracing3 The xfinity car isn't any better than the next gen. It's way worse actually. I dont know why we act like the xfinity car is so good. It's just a powered down COT.

  • Waethorn
    Waethorn (@Waethorn) reported

@TheGeorgePu It's because they're offering cut-rate subscriptions through media and network companies like Rumble, Bell Canada, PayPal, Comcast, Samsung, etc. "for free". AI-as-a-Service is a money-losing endeavour. In 5 years or less they'll be bankrupt.

  • BarleypopsMN
    ACDwithOCD (@BarleypopsMN) reported

@DinduApe @tacooghost I did the month to month with no equipment cost. 200-300mbs 80 a month Had it as a failover while comcast was having issues in my area.

  • SimardPete
    Pete Simard (@SimardPete) reported

@MrEwanMorrison We used to pay $150/month for cable and think nothing of it. at least now you can cancel whenever instead of being locked into a comcast contract.
