Exander (@exandergrube) reported from Baltimore, Maryland@SabinDeus Wasn't too bad when I was paying $30 a month for it, but now that I'm no longer eligible for their deal, I'm definitely looking at other options. I hate that Comcast only lets you pick from a set of deals that includes features I don't want like cable.
-
Emmanuel Andre (@MrEandre) reported from Baltimore, Maryland@christoaster @Xfinity Nope. It keeps happening. My cable will just shut down for a hour sometimes. Its insane that I dont have any other options.
-

lisa berkun (@lisaberkun) reported from Baltimore, Maryland@XfinitySupport Xfinity sucks! Came home from being away to find all services have been cut off. What the hell?!! Am now told I need to wait 5 days to get someone out here to restore services that shouldn’t have been disconnected in the first place. Would switch if I could!

lauren (@laurenhtexas) reported from Baltimore, MarylandAnother day of me complaining about the utter garbage that is Xfinity.
-
Mileah Kromer (@MileahKromer) reported from Baltimore, Maryland@RaekwonSWalker It’s from Xfinity. I canceled my cable & just have their “fast” internet (it’s the third fastest, apparently!) I realized that I don’t really watch any shows in real time anymore…and my cable box was always kind of wonky garbage!
-
lauren 🎃👻🕷 (@laurenhtexas) reported from Baltimore, MarylandThank u @xfinity for not working when I want to watch Succession. Why do I use you again? Oh yeah because I literally don’t have a choice in Baltimore city
-
Angel Amor (@AngelAmorAphros) reported from Baltimore, Maryland@Xfinity is the worst cable service ever. The customer service is so poor.
-
Christopher Robbin (@actually_cc) reported from Baltimore, Maryland@ThePlag16564083 @WoahMezzy @WtfImgvids I pay the bill lmfao. This is so untrue. I can see any site visited by any device on my network via the xfinity app. Same applies to other providers. This was a feature when I was literally like 12

phriendly neighborhood photojournalist (@Photog_Phil) reported from Baltimore, MarylandAppointments are made online and over the phone. If you’ve paid any attention to the Comcast drama, you’ll know just how poor Internet access is in Black/Brown communities in Baltimore City. This has led to less of Baltimore’s most vulnerable populations being vaccinated...
-
Shorty, pull your mask up (@BmoreBaker42) reported from Baltimore, Maryland@WorkersDance @Spicxer If the water billing issues don’t get corrected we have the ability to hold our goby accountable for that. Conversely, if my internet keeps dropping and is bad I can’t just “not pay,” Comcast because they will just cut off my service.
Comcast Xfinity Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
AthenaofAmerica (@mexigreekmom74) reported@amystreasures @1ssve In my area, we had issues all the time. I also had issues when I moved to another spot, but thankfully AT&T was just starting fiber optic so I got that and had no problems. Ending up moving again and got stuck with Comcast and started having issues again. Finally said enough and never went back.
-
Samantha (@SamGLumley) reported@DenverChannel @Xfinity is awful. The absolute worst customer service ever.
-
I judge you: I am ULTRA MAGA (@judgmentcenter) reportedElon Musk's Starlink is great. I am a customer. - Starlink is great. When Florida got hit by a hurricane many lost cable internet and also fiber internet for days and days, but people that had Starlink didn't. - Starlink is just as fast as Comcast and Spectrum high speed internet - I put the Starlink cable in a protective plastic protector, then buried it 2-3 inches. - I also put the Starlink dish in a clear acrylic sleeve that will protect it from bird droppings, tree sap and even hail - However when a hurricane was coming I unburied the cable and brought the Starlink dish inside my garage to protect dish during the storm. - There is plenty of extra cable to do so. - As soon as the wind died down, I brought the dish back out and had my high speed internet back up within about 10 minutes. - Sandbags hold it in place for normal storms +++ +++ They have a $5 a month standby mode. It automatically updates its firmware and software in standby mode. It is ready for you in 5 minutes whenever you need to start up high speed internet. Great for snow birds or if your cable/fiber internet goes out IE after a major hurricane, tornado, storm. +++ +++ It is also a satellite phone. It works even if all the cell towers are down so you can make calls or send/receive text messages. You can make phone calls or send text using your cell phone: Step 1: Connect to the Starlink Wi-Fi (regular high speed internet OR standby modes) Step 2: Then select Wi-Fi Calling Step 3: Now you are connected to the Starlink satellites making calls, send texts using your cell phone.

Benjamin Seamon (@BenSeamon) reported@Xfinity any way I can get an ETA on my internet outage? Kind of have a big sporting event to watch this afternoon you know. . .
-
ProdByFinerThings (@prodfinerthings) reported@G0_R0GUE @TrueSouthernUSA @STaranto92 Yeah but RCR supplies engines for almost the entire Xfinity series, and they’re still have their major sponsors. Does seem the cash flow is an issue but to what scale? I feel like there are tons of other factors in play.
-
Under Caution (@UnderCautionPod) reported@CouchRacerShop “B.. b.. but he wrecked his teammate” funny how Ty Gibbs is the only driver fans refuse to let grow. Yeah he wrecked his teammate years ago in Xfinity, and it was a bad look, but acting like that defines his entire career is wild.
-
Bish I'm Trevor Keith (@keithstone_48) reported@chadmikosz25 @Ilikeracing3 The xfinity car isn't any better than the next gen. It's way worse actually. I dont know why we act like the xfinity car is so good. It's just a powered down COT.
-
Waethorn (@Waethorn) reported@TheGeorgePu It's because they're offering cut-rate subscriptions through media and network companies like Rumble, Bell Canada, PayPal, Comcast, Samsung, etc. "for free". AI-as-a-Service is a money-losing endeavour. In 5 years or less they'll be bankrupt.
-
ACDwithOCD (@BarleypopsMN) reported@DinduApe @tacooghost I did the month to month with no equipment cost. 200-300mbs 80 a month Had it as a failover while comcast was having issues in my area.
-
Pete Simard (@SimardPete) reported@MrEwanMorrison We used to pay $150/month for cable and think nothing of it. at least now you can cancel whenever instead of being locked into a comcast contract.
